Wind power in motion: MV Paula delivers blades from UK to Japan
9 wind turbine blades, thousands of miles, one smooth JSI Alliance delivery
Long distances.
Precise delivery.
Captured in full motion at sea, MV Paula transported nine wind turbine blades from Portsmouth, UK, to Hibikinada, Japan. Carried out on behalf of Vestas, this project showcases the global reach and precision coordination of the JSI Alliance.
A powerful image of green energy in transit: MV Paula was recently photographed at sea, carrying nine windmill blades across continents – from Portsmouth in the United Kingdom to Hibikinada, Japan. The delivery was executed on behalf of Vestas, one of the world’s leading wind energy companies.
This long-haul project demonstrates the capabilities of the JSI Alliance in managing complex renewable energy transport solutions with precision and reliability. From port handling to ocean crossing, the operation reflects both technical planning and seamless execution by sea and shore teams alike.
We extend our sincere thanks to Vestas for their continued trust, and a special shoutout to Hiroshi KATSU and Rasmus Holm Madsen for their outstanding support and dedication throughout the project.
