Seamless delivery: Jumbo Jubilee transports 705 tonne shiploader to Qatar
From engineering to execution – a collaborative project delivery from Tianjin to Ras Laffan
Heavy lift.
Safe delivery.
The JSI Alliance vessel Jumbo Jubilee has successfully transported a 705-tonne shiploader from Tianjin, China to Ras Laffan, Qatar. Carefully engineered and executed in partnership with DSV, Tecnicas Reunidas Wison JV, and Bedeschi, the project highlights the precision and teamwork behind every JSI Alliance operation.
At JSI Alliance, we take pride in lifting and delivering the extraordinary. Most recently, Jumbo Jubilee completed the safe and precise transport of a 705-tonne shiploader (68 m x 21.5 m x 23.3 m) from Tianjin, China to Ras Laffan, Qatar.
The cargo, destined for QatarEnergy LNG, was shipped on behalf of DSV in close collaboration with Tecnicas Reunidas Wison JV and Bedeschi. Upon arrival in Ras Laffan, the massive structure was expertly discharged under the supervision of Port Captain Pablo Curutchet, ensuring a smooth operation from vessel to quayside.
But the story didn’t start in China. This project was initiated and booked via JSI Alliance Lift, with detailed planning and technical coordination managed by Jumbo Engineering. Every phase – from lift analysis to routing and ballast calculations – was carefully executed to guarantee safety and efficiency.
The successful delivery reflects the strength of our partnerships and the value of expert engineering at every step of the journey. We extend our sincere thanks to all project partners for their trust and collaboration.
