Orca Class Expansion Continues with Launch of MV Carlotta

The fourth Orca Class heavy lift vessel has been launched at the Weihai shipyard in China.

SAL has reached another milestone in the development of its next-generation heavy lift fleet with the launch of MV Carlotta, the fourth vessel of the Orca Class.

The vessel was launched at the Weihai shipyard in China, marking another important step toward the expansion of SAL’s modern heavy lift fleet.

The Orca Class represents a new generation of heavy lift vessels designed to combine high lifting performance, operational flexibility and improved efficiency. Each vessel in the series contributes to SAL’s ambition to advance more sustainable heavy lift shipping.
