Jumbo Jubilee Transports Transition Pieces from Spain to Denmark

Six transition pieces of approximately 478 tonnes each were transported from Spain to Denmark aboard Jumbo Jubilee.

The heavy lift vessel Jumbo Jubilee has transported six transition pieces from Avilés, Spain, to Rønne, Denmark, supporting an offshore wind project.

The shipment was engineered and managed within the JSI Alliance network.

Each transition piece weighed approximately 478 metric tonnes, requiring careful planning and precise execution throughout the transport.

Following mobilisation in Stettin, Poland, the vessel proceeded to Avilés for loading. On the way, a stop in Rotterdam allowed for bunkering, including the use of 100% biofuel, supporting more sustainable vessel operations.

The shipment marks another successful execution within the offshore wind segment, demonstrating the ability to handle heavy components efficiently across European ports.
