Two fully assembled Konecranes Gottwald Mobile Harbour Cranes Model ESP.9 – each weighing 552.5 mt – were successfully delivered to Itajaí, Brazil. The cranes were loaded in Antwerp, Belgium, and transported on board the heavy lift vessel MV Annette, illustrating the efficiency and precision required for moves of this scale.
Transporting fully assembled cranes demands meticulous preparation, exact lifting procedures and coordinated teamwork across vessels, terminals and engineering teams. The JSI Alliance ensured each phase of the operation was executed with accuracy, from stowage planning to the careful discharge in Brazil.
This shipment represents the type of high-stakes heavy lift operations in which the JSI Alliance excels – combining technical insight, operational experience and close collaboration with all partners involved. It also highlights the value of a versatile fleet able to safely handle complex cargo in a fully assembled state.
We extend our thanks to everyone involved in bringing this operation to a successful conclusion.
